When you exit the Garden through the east stone gate, you enter what we call the Gentile Field. This is not a cultivated garden like the Prayer Garden, but rather a designed area representing the Gentiles who have been grafted into the nation of Israel.
The fire pits represent six of the seven continents, and Antarctica is represented by the stone arch you pass under to enter this area. The cross is symbolically connected by a concrete root leading from the garden to the menorah in Manasseh.
This area has served over the years as a place for fellowship, casual wedding receptions, impromptu cookouts and now incorporates grazing areas for our barnyard animals.
