For the Israel Prayer Garden, the month of Elul is a major focus in Gad. The king would come out into the field during the height of the growing season and be among the people. This is represented by the metal gazebo – a place for the King to sit. The Shulamite Garden is on the southwest side of Gad so that when the prominent southwest wind blows, it carries the fragrance towards the gazebo where the king is in the field!
